Tests

Administered at Gemmo Centar are simple, reliable, high quality and conducted by our skilled staff

Genetic tests are a simple, reliable, high quality and competent way to gain information about potential threats to your health, which then can be prevented by changing your lifestyle or diet, or discovered sufficiently early.

Moreover, tests from the field of nutrigenetics are also available here. They provide information on whether you are prone to gaining weight, how your body metabolizes fats and carbohydrates, whether you are lactose intolerant or which type of physical activity is suitable for you. Every person has a unique genetic makeup, whish is the reason why our dietary needs also differ.

How are tests conducted?

Testing includes the analysis of the DNA from buccal swab samples. The sampling procedure is completely painless and lasts for 10-15 seconds.

All patients who do not live in Belgrade or are unable to come to our office can send their sample for the analysis via mail. You can take the sample using the swab from a sample collection kit purchased in a pharmacy.

You can download the Instructions for sample collection from our website.

You can send the swab/sample (with a legible first and last name on it), filled-out order form downloaded from our website, and the receipt by mail, in a designated envelope, or deliver it to us.

The test results will arrive at your home address or via email (depending which option you have marked on the order form), within 7-10 working days from the date the sample was taken and the bill paid.

Please follow the instructions on how to collect a sample, label a swab and fill out the order form.

More detailed instructions for sample collection can be downloaded from our website, on the Instructions for Sample Collection page.
